It was l992 when I started with Shiatsu training at the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, Arizona. There I received my first credential and it was 1994 when I became Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Continuing education is an important element of competent and professional practice, and over the years I've trained with some wonderful teachers in modalities which I have incorporated into my personal style. Deep tissue, acupressure and meridian therapy are the basic tools that I use.
